Really... Some of the things you see on the MRT trains can leave you in stitches from OD of laughter...
Like there was this time, I was dozing off in the train whilst going to school at 7 a.m, and there was this sec school boy sitting diagonally across of me. I wasn't laughing at him but what happened to him after that. At Tampines, this old portly lady with a bird nest for hair (gold colour at the tips, white at the top ^^;) and cellulite showing all over from her straggly clothes came in and stationed in front of that schoolboy. She was holding onto the rail and then as the train started, she also started... to swivel her hips. Ha ha ha, it wasn't those violent jiggling but kinda like those loosen-my-stiff-joints-I'm-doing-taichi swiveling. And she was doing it all sensually in front of the schoolboy. You should have seen his facial expression, it was CLASSIC! He had this traumatized look on his face, and I kinda felt that he was going through a melt-down. Lol, I kept giggling whenever I looked up at them, so much so that I actually wished someone would come in and block my view! ^^ So it all ended when the boy's stop came and he hurried away, leaving the lady to occupy his seat.
And then this morning, this China man (immigrant worker I guess) settled in a seat across me and promptly fell asleep. The funny thing, however, was that his head kept lolling to the sides, more often to the right side... So he would sleep, then his head will droop onto his neighbour's shoulder and then he will wake up and apologise profusely. And the whole thing would repeat again and again! I was laughing quietly at the looks his neighbours gave him (another male China immigrant worker and a middle-aged lady) and the way he never seem to learn but instead keep excusing himself. ^^;
I shall watch out for more of these hilarious events to keep myself awake! Of course, not forgetting looking out for that tall guy, whom I haven't seen since then... Haiz... I shall not give up! ^^
And last Friday I had my first lab practical for Intro Biology. It turned into a picture-snapping session with my camera b'cos they gave us images of different kinds of cells and wanted us to draw and identify them, which would be more productively done at home with the help of the internet. ^^ SO I snapped, snapped, snapped and rushed home to look at the pics and complete my lab report. Heh heh, all thanks to my sweet little camera.
