TRIVIA time!!!
Taken from "Top 10 Amazing Facts About Your Heart":
"No.5) LOL: It's Good for You
A hearty laugh e the kind that sends a stream of tears from your eyes e does more than warm the soul. Research has shown the guffaw can cause the lining of blood vessel walls called endothelium to relax, increasing blood flow for up to 45 minutes after the laugh attack. Damage to the endothelium can lead to the narrowing of blood vessels and eventually cardiovascular diseases. That's no laughing matter...or maybe it is..."
So you see, Xiao Di and Er Jie, we are ACTUALLY reducing our chances of having a heart attack, not just going into random spasms of laughter! XD
That happened when we were watching L, Change The World, on Tuesday. I would say it's a comedy+horror(the pimple-filled scientist really creep me out)+thriller(James Bond L)+drama+a little bit of romance(there's this love triangle thing going on) kind of movie. And yeah, we were laughing most of the time, even when the scientist died from pimples. The whole theater was quiet except the 3 of us giggling away. And I still can't accept the fact that Near is Thai. Noooo~ (self-denial) Come on, Wiki says that Near's real name is Nate Rivers. How, in any way, does that sound Thai, huh???
But it was a fantastic show (excluding the pimply bit) and L-sama was real cool and funny. I'm hoping that I can have more chances of strengthening my heart on Sunday. XP
Ohh, and don't say I didn't cite. Heart trivia taken from http://www.livescience.com/health/top_10_amazing_heart_facts-1.html
P.S. Can no one guess what
THE THING is??? Another hint: It's made of plastic...well, the most dangerous part is anyway.

Ohh yah! I forgot to add, hnt for
THE THING.
Erm,
it basically traumatized Eve and me during our whole 5 months in Bangkok. We thought we were gonna be 'eaten' by it - you could always see us scuttling away from it as fast as we can. Yes, it is THAT scary! Can you guess what it is? XD

Oh yesh, yesterday we had a fantastic outing at Bugis - Eve, Xiao Di, Er Jie and me. I'm sure you've heard from their blogs that it was terribly funny and we were laughing till our sides ached. I thought it was good abdominal exercise, and a little overdose of laughter never hurts anyone! Thank you, Han Yin, so much for the StarBucks treat. You should know that that is my 4th or 5th cup of coffee from there, so you have the honour! Hah hah, kidding. XD
But Mei Qi was funny when she ordered this BIG cup of steamed milk. I mean, like a bucket of steamed milk amongst 3 ice-blended? So anyways, her drink was very hot, which resulted in our attempt in helping her cool her drink off...via ice-blended congregation!
And I was coerced into taking some neoprints. I haven't taken those in 4 to 5 years and it was a bit traumatizing even though it was hella' funny! Here's the 'edited' version (I'm not sure if the editing did good or not):
And surprise, guess what?!
I have got no idea why the pics are on their side when i had clearly rotated them... Hmm, nevermind. L-sama, daisuki!!!!
And I watched Juno on the net yesterday. Good stuff, that show, makes you -me, I mean- wanna have a baby. =___=; Ha ha ha, whatever.
Can't wait for the clique BBQ on Sunday, it's gonna be loads of fun! And I'm gonna get a new camcorder next Monday, cam whore time!

Heh, since everyone is blogging, I shall do so too!
Well, first things first, Happy Valentine's Day to all the lovey-doveys out there!!!
But I think most of the people I know is actually single so... Like Xiao Di, I have spent 19 Valentine's Day being alone with my com, but unlike him, I don't seem to mind it much. Is it such a special date? I feel contented being left alone with my anime!!! XD
Anyways, today's Poster Presentation was a plain waste of time. They locked all 120 of us up in a large lab for 8 hours straight - I was saying that it felt like we were serving detention. Morning was ok but after lunch, everyone was beginning to feel sleepy and so we distracted ourselves by monkeying around and basically making a nuisance of ourselves. Then it got sooo boring and sooo draggy that we were all flopped out on the tables in a semi-comatosed state. But no worries, cause we were revived at the end of the day when we started jumping around and taking pictures!
Another confession: I was basically stalking sexy-accent today. XD
And then I went back home to finish my Harry Potter Book 7 which I borrowed from the library (well fancy that, they do lend it out!) on Saturday. Took me about 3 days to finish it, plus I was rushing for my poster, so not a bad record! The ending was blah... I got so confused with all their children's names. But all in all, a good read!

I was out today and, as usual, I went around in my spaced-out style, and I was just blankly staring at a car and thinking...of who it looks like.
Then, I realized I've had that strange habit for years. It just didn't occur to me that it was peculiar. I used to link faces to cars all the time when I was younger. Like for every car, there will be a particular face assigned to it. Some had happy faces, some had more solemn faces. But most cars would be smiling. And cars have 2 faces, one for the front and one for the back. Maybe that was the reason why I became so attached to my family's cars when I was about 6. I remember being especially close to my dad's Hyundai Excel, to the point I was talking to it and bursting into tears when he sold it off.
I guess I still do it sub-consciously now.
Other weird habits would be relating songs to different time periods(this is strong one that is still happening) and food to different people or time periods... I can't think of the others but I will list them up when I have thought of them. XD
Do you guys have any strange habits?

Ohhh my God... This is the funniest thing ever!!! XD
Who knew I looked like Jay Chou?!?!?! Ha ha ha, Eve, you're dead, man... You're surrounded with Jay Chou look-alikes!!! XD
Aaaand another one with me smiling. So that, you know, more trials the more accurate the results is right?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! I guess I'm stuck with Oguri Shun for good. I look like him meh..? And here I was, thinking that he's really ugly... XD

Warning: Do not, I mean DO NOT, eat before or during the movie Sweeney Todd.
I almost threw up after the movie yesterday. I knew it was M18 but I didn't expect it to be so...graphic. The blood was suspiciously high-pressured, like after Mr T slit the throats, they were like...Eve in the toilet!!! (Ha ha ha, only Eve will get the joke) And wouldn't it be strange if you're a guy and as usual, you just went to your kindly old barber and then he starts serenading to you about beautiful women..? And you started singing back to him? And the two of you continue warbling at the top of your voice whilst your barber holds his razor dangerously close to your throat??
Maybe that's just the 19th century.
Boy am I glad not to be borne in that era.
But yah, seriously, don't eat any before, during or even after the show.

Went to Feng Shan Block 85 for some good food with Eve and Han Yin, Xiao Di's treat. I missed the Otah sooo much, it tasted so good (maybe especially so since it's free? XP)... too bad it wasn't spicy enough for me. The Thailand Otah has much more kick! And the satay shrank!!! Well, to me at least, case Thailand's satay is really humongous.
But the cold rainy weather and the comfort of piping hot food made it feel good to be back in S'pore again. The low humming of my kitchen oven as it baked my CNY goodies, the familiar faces of my friends, the ability to eavesdrop on people as I can FINALLY understand their language, and unlimited internet access... everything made it feel good to be home! Of course I do miss some Thailand stuff but it's this or that, and it ain't too bad.
I am confused on what to do with my life now... or more like what to do with my further education life. Can someone help me choose the best path to take? Can someone guide me? Cause I'm really don't know which university to go to and where and when... If given a free choice, I'll go Tasmania and live with the tasmanian devils!
Ohh, btw, DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki rocks!!! I REALLY don't like the notion of boy bands and stuff and you don't see me going crazy over them, but these guys are an exception! I am beside myself with admiration for them... and their songs. And to think that 2 months ago, I was staring at their poster in Siam Center, Bangkok and wondering which generic boy band group that was and how ugly the lead vocalist was... Hah! Karma, I guess.
P.S. Is it just me, or did Jason Chang's accent become sexier??? XP
