Ha ha... I have some pictures which are LONG overdue so I shall put them up now.
Kimchi Making:
Brining the veg...
Squeezing out all the water from the brined veg...
And I know this is kinda sudden, but here's the completed form... without the fermentation yet. Simple, just add Korean chili paste, some sugar and garlic and mix it all up! ^^
Here is the final stage, after 4 days of fermentation! The whole thing was too saltish so I added some more cucumbers, but overall, it still tastes pretty much like the kimchi you buy outside! Success! :D
(See the difference in picture quality? The blur ones are taken with my hp while the clear one was taken with my digicam ^^)
Chocolate Cake Making:
You beat up the egg whites...
... Till it resembles white fluffy clouds, how lovely... ^^
Fold the clouds into the chocolate mixture... and you get fluffy chocolate clouds, yumz!
After baking, it becomes this dummy afternoon snack. Sad to say, this cake was for our church people so I could only taste some of the scraps (which was delicious too). Success! :D
And messing around with my digicam, I snapped shots of my animals this morning...
Awww.... my cute but very old dog... He has trouble climbing the flight of steps in my house now. There was once when he climbed almost to the top, then missed a step, and staggered a few steps down clumsily, after which he had to reclimb those few steps that he missed. ^^;
The yakuza cat! The flash scared the poop outta her, that's why her eyes are so big. XD
And the food that I am crazily into right now:
Chocolate-covered raisins are the yumz! ^^
