Ha ha, here's the update of the cinnamon rolls that I promised yesterday!
My beautiful sheet of rolled-out dough...
Then spread on the butter-cinnamon-raisin mixture...
And roll roll roll it all up! ^^
Here they are, all sliced out and arranged in the baking tin.
And voila, after baking! Lol, trust me, it looks and tastes better than what's in this pic.
(see how much the dough expanded after proofing and baking?)
And I think this a better pic of a single cinnamon roll (close up) :D
Ha ha ha, I made a mistake when I was baking this yesterday. After I had sliced up and the rolls and placed them in a warm oven for the second proofing, I forgot to turn the oven off (I was re-heating the oven). Sooo... it was a good 5 mins later that I caught a whiff of cooked dough and burnt cloth. So I rushed off to see and sure enough, the rolls were half cooked with the piece of damp cloth I placed over them (to stop the tops from being dried out) still there. The results were semi-baked cinnamon rolls and a charred pieces of dried cloth. Lol, the rolls even stuck tight to the cloth so I had to yanked them ruthlessly away and pop them into the large oven for the rest of the baking. As you could see, the rolls still came out fine but regrettably, the cloth had to be thrown away. ^^;
I love baking (and the horrors I experience during it), don't you? Lol
Anyways, I have to go complete my tutorials and read up on my Poly OC1 and PIPC1 notes. You know why? I'll tell you why. Cos the lecturers in NTU know NUTS about what and how they are teaching. All of them teaching our core subs are not even local, so you can imagine them muttering to themselves in their thick accents. It's not easy to understand sigma and pi molecular orbits with that kind of thing happening. T-T
