Oooookay, I'm finally freed from my duties for today so here I am, using the facility's WiFi to update, MWA HA HA!!!
You won't believe it, I didn't even get to touch Labbie for the whole of today until now. Usually, before I start work, I'll be in the room checking my mail and downloading anime from CrunchyRoll. But apparently today, the moment I stepped into the room, my supervisor aka P. Goong (Thai Nickname) burst in and dragged me off immediately to start on my cell cultures.
Ok, I promised a tour of BIOTEC right? Pics coming up, don't worry, I only took pictures of the places that are opened to the public. The locked areas like the X-Ray room I am in right now and the labs are excluded, to protect me from the law (or whatever) infringement thing...

This is not the right side up, I know but I have been fiddling with the stupid picture and I can't fix it. So crane your necks y'all or turn your com's monitor screen. Whatever works for you. Let's start with BIOTEC's directory (even though you can't see the writing clearly, I don't care, ngah ha ha) which lists all the offices and departments on the different floors of the building.

And this is the right hand side of the lobby. If you squint hard enough, you can actually see Cafe D'Oro which is the cafe me and Evelyn go to eat breakfast every morning. Yes, we do eat food in the morning so we are NOT starving.

This is the left hand side of the lobby, with the receptionist and the and the flashy video displays.

And if you walk further in, you'll reach like a main hall area. Funky tiles huh? Tilt your heads you guys! XD

This is the 2nd floor, where 2 incredibly comfortable couches are placed with a water dispenser. Eve and I always head to the couches after lunch to relax for a while and to steal water back. Hey, Thailand's tap water isn't potable and we weren't provided a kettle ok?

A better pic of the comfy couches!

And if you walk up the stairs to the corridors outside the private labs, it looks like this. Very white and sterile right? Trust me, you can spot cleaners mopping the floors 24/7. Always. Without fail. There's an irony to it, I will tell you guys in another post.

Yeah. If you look hard enough, you can spot the only single staircase that leads to all floors and all labs! Funky.

This is the corridor OUTSIDE the BIOTEC area that leads to the canteen.

And the beautiful scenery outside the corridors, lining the research buildings.
Ok, enough, I think I'm gonna be chased out soon for staying too long in the room.
*zips off*
