Wah ha ha!!!
Cosfest = Sugei na!!!
It was so exciting, with characters from various animes and games swarming the whole place. My first glimpse of a cosplayer was Athrun from Gundam Seed Destiny, I think... Was it Athrun...? I'm not too sure but it was so funny that I started laughing while on the phone with Char. Han Yin aka Xiao Di was with me and he was pretty amazed too.
Quote: "I think I'm liking cosplay more and more!" Me too. XD
Then we went to the main tent and saw groups like Tsubasa Chronicle (didn't look like at all, the Sakura-Syaoran couple was way funny), Bleach (too many groups playing them @_@), Kingdom Hearts (weapons way cool) and Naruto. There were individual cosplayers like Yuna from FF 10, some fellow from Code Geass, En-O and Enki from 12 Kingdoms, a VERY cool and VERY tall Athrun in his VERY nice Alex Dino costume (which had me weak at the knees), Lacus Clyne, and some J rockers.
My absolute favourite part was the group play on stage, more specifically the Naruto team! Hah, they were role playing this skit. Rock Lee was dancing to the song "Milkshake" as part of learning a new taijutsu ("My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard!") when suddenly the Akatsuki appeared. Itachi saw Sasuke and dashed forward to embrace him.
Naruto: "Hey, what are you doing, touching his butt?!?!?! It's mine!!!"
And he went on to grab the poor dude's ass. Which sent the whole hall into peals of laughter! So Itachi and Naruto were fighting over Sasuke, and seeing this, the blue-lizard fellow from the Akatsuki -Itachi's partner- approached Rock lee and started learning the milkshake dance. Hah, WAY COOL!!!
And there was the role play from the Kingdom Hearts group, which resulted in most of their cool weapons breaking into pieces when they 'fought' each other. Expletives like "Ohh shit!" were heard over the mic which was rather humorous, given the situation.
Han Yin and I stayed to see Char cosplay Kyo from Dir En Grey too. I stated that her contacts were too scary but Xiao Di said they were cool, and that if he could get his hands on them, he would cosplay the people from "My Date With A Vampire". Thank goodness they're far away from his reach =__=;;;
The HP show on Friday was ok, it seems to be the best out of all the HP movies. Of course, Malfoy was still drool-inducing, and Cho was just weak and...wet. XP
*thinking*
